Ira & Vania
I thought it's a bit confusing to put this picture for the last post, but after I looked at it again and heard others' opinions, I feel this one is better. Anyway, life is very unstable and complicated for them. Sasha's common-law wife Ira is waiting for time to give birth with her first son Vania at home without electricity.

Ikuru, this is truly a gorgeous picture. It captures something about the complexity of a mother's relationship with her son, and in this case in particular, I feel the way that he is trying to call her back from her world of worries and preoccupations says something true about the way that children of unstable parents have to often act as supporters and caregivers. Intense!
Reminds me my childhood...
